Calphalon Non-Stick Griddles - They Are Fabulous
By Wanda on Jan 16, 2008 in Calphalon, Non-Stick Cookware

My grandchildren and I love pikelets and pancakes. We each have our favourites and when we decide to have a pancake cooking time, everybody helps. I like my pancakes plain with butter added while they are warm so that the butter soaks into the pancake. Sometimes I like to add a jam such as blackberry .
So if you and your family love pancakes then you are going to love this Calphalon 12-in. Simply Calphalon Nonstick Round Griddle Pan. It is always easier to use a pan that is made specifically for creating a particular item as using the right pan ensures that your cooking gives you the result you require.
Now although this griddle is ideal for cooking pancakes, I have found many uses for cooking things such as French toast, bacon, eggs, panni, cheese sandwiches and much more. In fact the only thing it really isn’t suitable for is making omelets, but that is only because they end up as crepes as the 12 inch pan is a bit big and the mixture spreads out too thinly for the end product to be considered an omelet.
I guess the key features of the Simply Calphalon non-stick range are, of course that it has a nonstick interior and this makes clean up a breeze, then there is the the healthy non fat cooking, the stay-cool, arched handles that are double-riveted to provide comfort while cooking and the heavy-gauge, hard-anodized aluminum for even heating and lasting performance. On top of all these fantastic features is the fact that the griddle is oven-safe to 450 degrees, so if you feel the need you can finish off cooking food in the oven.
This griddle is one of those items that is so versatile it won’t languish in the back of a cupboard, you will be using it all the time.
And Calphalon’s griddles cater to all tastes in cookware as they have come in round and square.
As you can see the Calphalon 11-in. Nonstick One Nonstick square griddle pan is also ideal for toasting ham and cheese sandwiches or for cooking blueberry buttermilk pancakes.
The wide, flat surface turns up at the sides, preventing any butter or oils from dripping onto your stovetop. Introducing Calphalon One Nonstick, the latest cookware line that boasts a special nonstick cooking surface - the only one of its kind on the market today. It’s the first to combine Calphalon’s exclusive infused anodized technology with a revolutionary nonstick cooking surface - the One and only cookware you’ll ever need.
The interior surface has a special matrix of four interlocking nonstick layers that gives the pan flawless food release of sticky foods like sushi rice, cheese or caramel as well as delicate foods such as eggs and seafood.
On the exterior, the pan’s heavy-gauge aluminum construction is infused with a special polymer that resists stains and cleans-up beautifully.
The pan has a long, triple-riveted, cool-to-the-touch stainless handle, perfectly balanced for lifting and carrying.
So here you are, two fantastic products from Calphalon to make your cooking experience pleasurable.

I had the grandkids over yesterday and we made pancakes. It’s one thing that everyone can help with.
I am so thinking about getting a square griddle. I love the round one but you know me and cookware. I want it all.
