I have used a slow cooker for many years, mainly because I worked long hours and had a young family. But even though they have grown up and moved on I still use my slow cooker for easy to prepare meals. Well that was up until recently when the exterior finally rusted away.  So it is time for an update and I don’t think you can go past the All-Clad slow cooker for style, quality and practicality.

A Slow Cooker is a must for the busy woman of today. There is so many things to be spending your time than to be continually wondering what to have for dinner. When you plan your weekly meals ahead of time it is so easy to factor in a couple of slow cook meals. Pop the ingredients into the cooker, set the programmable timer and when you arrive home in the evening, wallah – a perfectly cooked meal ready to serve.

All-Clad, who are makers of excellent quality cookware, have produced one of the finest electric slow cookers around. It has a generous 6.5 quart capacity, big enough to feed a large family or prepare a dish for guests.

There is a recipe book included, always handy when you start out with a new piece of cookware. The recipes featured in the book are an Asian beef stew, mahogany glazed pork, chicken with mushrooms, Tunisian spiced turkey breast and a recipe for peach melba dessert. Now I don’t know about you but that all sounds pretty mouthwatering to me.

There are a number of features that I really love about the All-Clad slow cooker apart from the smart looking stainless steel exterior, and that is the black ceramic insert, so chic; the 3 temperature settings and programmable timer that lets you prepare meals up to 26 hours in advance and the glass lid that conveniently allows you to monitor your cooking.

So where do you find one of these gorgeous, practical slow cookers:
