Waring Juicer Review: Waring White Citrus Juicer PJ201
By Paula on Oct 15, 2008 in Kitchen Appliances
The Waring White Citrus Juicer received mixed reviews on the internet. The majority were extremely pleased with the performance of this juicer whilst a few others were very disappointed.
Those that weren’t happy had issues with the motor stating that when they pressed down firmly on the fruit the motor stopped. This was interesting since there were a large number of reviewers who juiced large quantities of oranges at a time and had no problem.
What We Like
- This machine stays stable on the counter top when juicing. This is due to the vibration dampening feet.
- The majority of the pulp is separated from the juice but if you like more pulp in your juice then you can easily transfer it from the container to your glass.
- All the pieces come apart for easy cleaning.
- This is a heavy duty machine that is solidly built.
What We Don’t Like
- This is a solid piece of equipment so you’ll probably want to leave this one on the counter if you are going to use it regularly. This will mean you need will need some extra counter space.
- The ‘pulp catcher’ is not terribly large and if you are juicing a lot of fruit at the one time you will find yourself having to empty it often.
