There is no doubt about it, we had to rate the as our number 1 choice for Dutch Ovens.
So that you have nice crips popcorn every time the popcorn maker has vents in the popping bowl so that the moisture escapses.
You can pop enough popcorn to fill up the family as it pops up to 10 cups of popcorn in under 5 minutes, and you choose how much oil and salt to add.
Easy to use and a breeze to clean up, plus it is also dishwasher safe.
However, the majority of the reviews were not quite as enthusiastic about the construction of the product or its performance. Many found the popcorn to be chewy, this may have been the result of not removing the plastic cover that allows the steam to escape.
Others reported defective machines where bits melted or didn’t function properly, so all in all there is a lot of disappointment with this product. Most buyers purchased the easypop popcorn maker because of Cuisinart‘s great reputation for producing cookware that is durable, functional and good looks, unfortunately the easypop popcorn maker does not appear to not be up to their usual high standard.
Having said that, those people who did get the popcorn maker to work properly are absolutely delighted with it and give it a big thumbs up. I went to the local kitchen appliance store and looked at the product. the sample product was broken(This was not a good sign). I figured someone had just abused it. I purchased a machine. It worked fine at first, but engaging the popping plate got harder and harder. Eventually after about 6 or 7 uses, the popping plate failed to make contact with internal electrical connector. (It sounded like something snapped. I am now contacting Cuisinart for help and or refund.
We had the same problem. Took it back.
Got a new one. The same thing happened. Taking it back again. Will not get a new one. This product is a defective product in design in my opinion.
