As soon as I saw the Paula Deen from Back to Basics 2-slice Egg & Muffin Toaster I just knew I wanted one.
What a totally fantastic idea – cooking your egg while the bread toasts all in the same appliance. So breakfast is on the go while you get ready to head out for the day, how convenient is that.
I mean to say, how innovative is this woman to come up with the idea of combining the functions of your toaster and an egg poacher into one appliance. Paula Deen is one smart lady. All you need to do is add the ingredients and four minutes later breakfast is ready to serve.
Now the appliance can be used as either a toaster or a poacher, you don’t need to use the two functions at the one time.
Because I am so enamoured of this appliance I couldn’t wait to check out the reviews, and sure enough, everyone who has purchased it, loves it.

The egg cooker part of my toaster-egg set is getting all scratched up and rough, and I have been real careful with it, knowing it is teflon, so I was wondering if there was a place to get a replacement just for the egg part??
can you get replacements for the egg poacher?
Hi Janet – This egg toaster is actually made by ‘Back to Basics’ and you can get spare parts for it at the link below. However, I would double check with them first to make sure that it will fit into the Paula Deen version of this model. I don’t see why not but it doesn’t hurt to check. for some reason the egg poacher doesn’t work… it worked twice, now it doesn’t heat up… still makes great toast though. Who do I contact?

These egg toasters are the best things ever invented, I’m an utterly useless cook and getting one means I can fend for myself lol – also means I can leave it going when I’m trying to get ready for work and still have eggs done to perfection for breakfast!
