rsvp-pink-onion-gogglesI had to laugh when I saw these – goggles that protect your eyes when you are cutting onions!

I must admit that I don’t much like cutting onions especially when you have a lot to cut up. My method is to just hold my head back and away from the updraft of the onion fumes. It sort of works but it’s by no means perfect.

I know there are a lot of cooks out there that are particularly sensitive to onion fumes so these cute looking pink goggles are just the thing for protecting the eyes.

They have also had a bit of press in the New York Times and Consumer Reports and has also been featured by Martha Stewart and Rachael Ray.

Some reviewers were a little skeptical about this product but upon trying them were amazed that they actually did work.

Although they are called ‘goggles’ they don’t fit around your head but go on like glasses so you won’t have the hassle of having to strap them around your head or having your hair messed up.

The only real downside to these is that they don’t fit over normal glasses.
