Each of the knives from this set are made from one piece of superior German CrMov stainless steel alloy and has a strong tang to provide strength. The ‘tang’ by the way is the bit of the metal that extends into the handle. In general, the further up the handle the better the knife.

You might also like to know that a portion of the profits for these knives goes towards Share Our Strength. This is non-profit organization that works towards ending childhood hunger.

What We Like

  • Great set of knives if you are traveling as they can be easily transported in the case.
  • The handles are a synthetic rubber for a good grip and to prevent your hand from slipping.
  • The handles contain an antibacterial inhibitor. What this means is that it helps to protect the handles from micro-organisms which can degrade the quality of the handles over time.
  • These knives are sharp and good quality.
  • A portion of the profits for these knives goes to a good cause.

What We Don’t Like

  • If you are going to store the knives in the case then it may become a bit of a chore having to take them out and put them back in each time when it would be a lot easier to store them in a knife rack.
  • The color may be an issue for some – it is quite a bright orange.
