With potatoes you can peel and slice the potatoes then pop the spirals into the pot to make quick and easy mashed potatoes.

When you first start to use the apple corer you may find that some adjustment to the blade might be necessary and some times the blade may work loose if you are doing a lot of apples, but once the blade is set up you will find that peeling apples and potatoes is quick and easy.
