Review: All Clad Stainless Steel 3qt Saucier Pan Review

If you’ve come here looking for a review of the All-Clad Stainless Saucier Pan then you probably already know what a saucier pan actually is. But bear with me here as I am sure there are others who have no idea since this is not the sort of item that is commonly found in most home cooks kitchens.

A saucier pan is similar to a saucepan but is shaped differently in order to make it easier to mix ingredients and brown foods before adding liquids to the pan. It is commonly used where whisking or rapid stirring is required as it provides easier access and a rounded base.

Although it looks somewhat like a saute pan it is different in that the sides flare out a little more.

The All Clad Stainless Steel Saucier Pan is a beautiful piece of cookware. This is something that All Clad does well.

This is made using All Clads tri-ply cladding with a layer of aluminum sandwiched between layers of 18/10 stainless steel. The aluminum means that foods cook evenly without hotpots.

The sides are rounded which is essential in a saucier pan and it has two pouring lips which aid in pouring liquids.

The steel riveted handles finish this piece of cookware off nicely.

You really can’t go wrong with All Clad in your home. It is cookware that will last a lifetime.
