Well each piece is coated with a vegetable oil formula and then the cookware is put into an extremely hot industrial oven and baked.  Doing this allows the oil to penetrate deep into the cast iron surface and you are left with the attractive, ready to use  pan.

When you have finished cooking with the Lodge Manufacturing Co. 8 Slice Logic Wedge Pan  just rinse it in hot water, do not use dishwashing liquid or any sort of soap, otherwise you need to re-season the pan.
