When I first saw this Le Creuset Glazed Pitcher my immediate thought was “oh no, that will weigh a ton, no-one will ever be able to pick it up to pour anything with it”. But of course, this is not your typical Le Creuset cast iron cookware piece which are solid and heavy.

Fortunately this one is made from stoneware so is light enough for pouring drinks and carrying to and from the table without pulling a muscle in the process.

This gorgeous cherry red pitcher is available in a variety of other colors including Caribbean blue, cobalt blue, kiwi and white.  But I am tending toward the red. It’s just bright and cheery.

What We Like

• It is oven safe to 500F.
• It handles temperature changes well and can go from freezer to microwave or oven.
• It has a classic look to it and the color really stands out.
• It can also be used as a flower vase.
• It is dishwasher safe.

Important

• Some people have noticed variations in the color of this pitcher with some stating it was all one color while others indicating that their pitcher was in varying tones with a darker color at the top than at the bottom. However, they all indicated that they loved the beautiful variations.
