maverick-laser-bbq-infrared-surface-thermometerThe Maverick Industries Laser Thermometer is a great idea. If you’ve ever wondered what the temperature of your barbecue was before putting those steaks on then you will love this.

It’s not limited to outdoor use either – you can use this to check the temperature of your pans on your stove top prior to using.

All you need to do to use this is point the laser at the grill, pot or pan and then press the trigger. It will then measure the cooking surface temperature.

It can also check for hot or cool spots so you can move your foods around while cooking to get the maximum benefit.

It provides temperatures in fahrenheit or celsius and measures temperatures up to 5 feet away.

This is not an internal thermometer so you won’t be able to measure the internal temperature of a roast for instance. It is purely for measuring surface temperatures.
