This pastry scraper has a strong and sharp stainless steel blade that will sink through pastry dough without a second thought and can also be used for chopping up, or crushing, the other ingredients you need to add to your mixture. In many ways this can be one tool that helps prepare many aspects of a baking recipe.

The handle of this pastry scraper is also something a serious baker will appreciate. When you’re cooking it’s easy to lose your grip on kitchen tools and make a mess of the ingredients you are working with.

Making these pans lightweight is their aluminum body. While many think aluminum made pots are not as sturdy as other options, in this case they are. They can also be used on any style of stove surface.

On the inside, these pots are all coated with a nonstick surface covering. Unlike many nonstick coverings, this compound is even able to stand up to the use of metal spoons and utensils in the pot. Their pots are so well known for their nonstick features they have been named “Best Nonstick Cookware” since the 80s by a number of publications.

What We Like

  • This is a very lightweight, yet fully functional, cook set. That makes them easy to move around the kitchen, even when full, as you prepare a meal.
  • While they are lightweight, these pots and pans are heavy duty and can handle a lot of work being put on them.
  • All coated with non-stick surfaces they are easy to clean after preparing a meal.
  • They provide even heating so your food comes out as you would expect.
  • When the pans are red hot, the handles have been created to stay cool to the touch.

What We Like

What We Don’t Like

  • It has a number of small pieces that all have to be in the right place in order for the machine to work. It can get frustrating if you only have one piece out of place and can’t operate it.
  • We would prefer variable speeds to the one ‘super power’ speed that it comes with.
  • There are a number of small places where food can get caught in the processing and take time to clean up.

What We Don’t Like

Sometimes there is a gap between the removable plates when you put them back in. This can make cooking uneven.

There is no timer, so you have to keep an eye on the waffles as they cook.
