iGourmet Cheese SamplerCheese is definitely one of my favorite foods so I would love to receive one of these cheese platters.

The igourmet’s Favorites – 8 Cheese Sampler contains a range of cheeses to suit all palates from tangy through to sweet. This is a great addition to party or a wine and cheese night.

Each of the cheeses is 8 ounces and for the amount of cheese you get in this sampler this is great value for money. In total you get 4 pounds of cheese.

Cheese samplers can be served with water crackers or bread or simply on their own at the end of a meal.

The cheeses in this sampler include:

  • Blue – this mountain gorgonzola is a mild tangy cheese with the typical blue veins found in gorgonzola cheeses. It comes from the Lombardy region in Italy.
  • Nutty – this is a gouda variety that is aged for 18 months to give it nutty caramel like flavor.
  • Creamy – this is, as the name suggests, a creamy French Camembert.
  • Tangy – this one comes from England and is an authentic cheddar.
  • Sheep – made from 100% sheep’s milk and aged for over 3 months, this cheese has a firm texture with a rosemary infused rind.
  • Goat – this goats cheese is made from a recipe created by chef Cas Spijkars.
  • Sweet – if you like cheese studded with sweet fruits then you will love this one. This white stilton is studded with mango and ginger.
  • Tangy – another tangy cheese. This one is a Camembert with a creamy inside and white outer rind.
  • Water Crackers – cheese isn’t complete without some water crackers. Included is a 4oz pack.
