It works simply by placing some water in the base, adding the eggs and screwing in the lid. The amount of time it takes to cook an egg depends on the wattage of your microwave but it is somewhere between 6 and 10 minutes.
The beauty of this little device is that you don’t need to hang around to make sure you cook the eggs for just the right time. You simply need to set the microwave for the suggested time and they walk away and do other things. Even if you forget the eggs will still be perfectly cooked.
