If you have a Nintendo DS then like me you know how much fun they can be – but they can also be educational at the same time.
So if you want to learn to cook or simply want to add some new recipes to your list then the Personal Trainer: Cooking is a fun way of doing it.
With over 245 recipes to choose from the Nintendo Personal Trainer: Cooking takes you through step by step using a combination of an interactive cookbook with a live cooking instructor.
How Does it Work?
You simply select a recipe from the extensive list – you can browse by country, ingredients, cooking time, cooking technique or calorie count.
Once you have selected a recipe you can scan the ingredients and add any you don’t have to a shopping list.
When you are ready you can view the step by step demonstration. You can pause anytime along the way and replay anything you didn’t quite get.
When you have made a recipe you can put a date stamp so you will always be able to tell when you last cooked that dish.
And if your hands are sticky with food you can simply voice your commands into the DS. You can also make added notes on a recipe for future reference.
The Nintendo Personal Trainer: Cooking game also includes:
- an A to Z cooking guide
- keyword search function
- the ability to adjust the serving size
- a timer
- a calculator
- explanations of ingredients
- conversions
- possible substitutions
