Bear in mind that even if a cookware set is labelled as dishwasher safe in most cases the manufacturer will still recommend hand washing. The reason is that dishwashers are quite harsh on cookware and over time it just won’t last as long as it would if you were to hand wash it. This is particularly so for nonstick cookware. Stainless steel on the other hand will always stand up to the rigors of a dishwasher so much better than nonstick.
