Looks like a great blender!! I like the simplicity of just two buttons.
Users who have seen this so called “All Metal” drive system snap in half during normal use, know that the claim is totally false! When the drive spindle on the motor base shears off, you will discover that the broken shaft is not metal, but some kind of RUBBER COMPOSITE!
I bought and returned no less than THREE of these blenders over a 2 month period. All three of them eventually failed with the exact same issue as stated above.
The failures occurred while making recipes right out of the Oster owners manual!
Great blender in terms of design and function, but TERRIBLE in terms of the cost cutting Oster obviously used in the manufacture of the actual drive components.

This looks like a super “solid” blender – durable and attractive too! We have a KitchenAid blender and absolutely love it, but we had an Oster blender before that one and it lasted forever!
