Old Dutch 38-Ounce Cast-Iron Nobility TeapotI am a big tea drinker. I love it and will have up to 4 to 6 cups a day with my preference being green or white tea. Tea making is a bit of an art. Sure, you can toss a tea bag in a cup pour boiling water over it and have your cup of tea, but if you want to really make tea then you need the right equipment.

This Old Dutch 38-Ounce Cast-Iron Nobility Teapot is an absolute beauty. Any tea drinker would love to be serving their tea out of this one.

The tea pot has a 380z capacity so if we consider that an average cup is around 8oz then you are looking at 4 to 5 cups of tea out of a single pot.

Note that this pot isn’t meant for boiling water in. It is just a brewing teapot so you will need to boil your water in a kettle first before adding to the teapot.

The inner surface is coated with black enamel so you won’t need to worry about the cast iron leaching into your tea. It also helps to prevent rusting.

The great thing about cast iron is that it retains heat extremely well so your tea will stay warmer for much longer than regular tea pots.

It also comes with a stainless steel insert for when using loose tea leaves.

They are made from ceramic so you will find that they heat evenly without hotspots and you can use them in the oven or the microwave. They are oven safe to 500° F and you can store any little bits of leftovers in the refrigerator or the freezer.

Each cocotte has a tight fitting lid with self basting spikes.  What this means for you is that the food is kept moist and full of flavor as the juices are continously returned to the base throughout the cooking process.
