Old Dutch 38-Ounce Cast-Iron Nobility Teapot

Old Dutch 38-Ounce Cast-Iron Nobility TeapotI am a big tea drinker. I love it and will have up to 4 to 6 cups a day with my preference being green or white tea. Tea making is a bit of an art. Sure, you can toss a tea bag in a cup pour boiling water over it and have your cup of tea, but if you want to really make tea then you need the right equipment.

This Old Dutch 38-Ounce Cast-Iron Nobility Teapot is an absolute beauty. Any tea drinker would love to be serving their tea out of this one.

The tea pot has a 380z capacity so if we consider that an average cup is around 8oz then you are looking at 4 to 5 cups of tea out of a single pot.

Note that this pot isn’t meant for boiling water in. It is just a brewing teapot so you will need to boil your water in a kettle first before adding to the teapot.

The inner surface is coated with black enamel so you won’t need to worry about the cast iron leaching into your tea. It also helps to prevent rusting.

The great thing about cast iron is that it retains heat extremely well so your tea will stay warmer for much longer than regular tea pots.

It also comes with a stainless steel insert for when using loose tea leaves.

The Old Dutch Cast Iron Nobility Teapot is available in pale blue and moss green.

Review: Emerilware by All Clad Cast Iron Cornbread Pan

emerilware-by-all-clad-cast-iron-cornbread-panCast iron would have to be one of the best materials for making cornbread and this Emerilware from All-Clad Cast Iron Corn Bread Pan is a real beauty.

The reason cast iron is so good is that it cooks evenly and consistently. This means that your cornbread comes out golden and crunchy.

Cast iron is reasonably priced and will last for a lifetime. In fact, it’s not uncommon for cast iron pots and pans to be passed down from generation to generation.

Cast iron is heavy but Emerilware have done the right thing by placing handles on both sides of the pan making it easy to pick up and move around. And this pan comes pre-seasoned so you can start cooking straight away.

Although this pan is touted as a cornbread pan it is in fact versatile enough to use for a myriad of other uses like roasting vegetables for a roast dinner or even making an apple pie.

Backed by the All Clad name, this Emerilware Cast Iron Cornbread Pan is a definite must have for cornbread lovers out there.
