Here we are again, Easter is almost upon us and its time to break out the Easter cookware to bake up those specialty items.

The Nostalgia Cotton Candy Maker will allow you to bring the magic of that fluffy sweet treat to your own home.With the Nostalgia Cotton Candy Maker you turn on the machine, pour in a small scoop of table sugar and wait.

In just under 2 minutes you will start to smell the aroma of cotton candy. Then you will see that fluffy creation begin to build on the edge of the machine. Dip in one of the included plastic cones and wind around in circles until you have a nice fluffy cone of sweet candy.

The overall size of the machine is much smaller than you may expect for a cotton candy maker. It is 13 x 13 x13 inches in size and only weighs 14 lbs. Once you are done making your cotton candy, clean up is not as difficult as you may think. While you know how sticky cotton candy can be, this unit will break down into a number of pieces, which will make clean up much simpler.

What We Like:

  • This is quick and easy to use
  • It doesn’t take too long to warm up and get to make candy.
  • It breaks down and therefore is easy to clean up after using.
  • It has a constant on switch so you can keep making cotton candy as long as you want.

Some things to consider:

  • It is slow to make the cotton candy, which is not that surprising after all it is a toy.
  • The spinning head and disc that help to create the cotton candy can hurt you if you touch it. Exercise common sense when using the appliance and supervise children when they are using it.
  • It uses regular table sugar, but that limits the ability to create colorful and flavored cotton candy.

  • These are very easy to use and make.

  • You can remove just one pop at a time instead of having to pull them all out.
  • These offer a healthy option for making frozen treats.
  • It’s something the kids can get involved in making.

Other Things to Consider:

  • The pops will not come out easily if you don’t follow the instructions and can be frustrating.
  • The set is a little large and will need a good amount of space in your freezer.

Dr Who Dalek Cookie Jar – Limited Edition

Dr Who Dalek Cookie JarIf you are a fan of Dr Who then you will love this Dalek Cookie Jar. I actually can’t quite believe that anyone would think of making a cookie jar in the shape of a dalek but I guess you can get just about anything these days.

Dr Who is the longest running sci-fi series in the world. I know I have been watching it since I was a kid and I just love the new and updated Dr Who series with the current doctor David Tennant and also the doctor before him Christopher Eccleston.

The daleks were always my favorite villainous race. If only the doctor knew back then that he simply had to run up a set of stairs to get away from one. These days the daleks are a little more sophisticated and have the ability to get up a set of stairs and even fly around the room…but I digress.

The dalek is in the traditional silver color with black and blue highlights and stands approximately 13 inch.

To get to the cookies you simply remove the head of the dalek.

This is a limited edition of 1000 so you won’t want to wait too long decided on whether to purchase this little beauty.
