This pepper mill is hand made in Greece using the same methods that have been used for the past 300 years. This is quality at its best.

The difference between this pepper mill and most other pepper mils on the market today is that this one actually grinds the pepper. Most others simply ‘smash’ the pepper corns.

The phrase ‘pepper grinder’ actually originated as a result of the Atlas Pepper Mills and the fact that it grinds the pepper rather than just ‘smashing’ it means that the flavor and aroma of the pepper is maximized.

  • This is a great beginner book that will give you a good grasp of this art.
  • If you have never made sausages before, this is a great step-by-step book to get you through the process painlessly.
  • Once you know what you’re doing, this book gives you a lot of ideas for how to make a number of different sausages.

What We Don’t Like

  • There could have been more sausage making recipes (and fewer recipes for using sausage) included.
  • This has the basics, but if you already know the basics you may not get a lot out of this book.
  • Many of the recipes are lacking in flavor and you will probably want to add more spices.

No longer do you have to hold your hand over the mixer to avoid splatter while trying to reach across the counter and grab the next bunch of ingredients to be combined. No need to waste time reloading anymore!

If you also have a grinder attachment for your KitchenAid mixer, this will allow a smooth constant flow of items to be mixed to pour into the bowl. This is especially helpful if you tend to cook larger quantities.

  • You can’t pour liquid ingredients in with this attachment as it is not waterproof and liquids will leak through onto the counter.
