If you’ve come here looking for a review of the All-Clad Stainless Saucier Pan then you probably already know what a saucier pan actually is. But bear with me here as I am sure there are others who have no idea since this is not the sort of item that is commonly found in most home cooks kitchens.

A saucier pan is similar to a saucepan but is shaped differently in order to make it easier to mix ingredients and brown foods before adding liquids to the pan. It is commonly used where whisking or rapid stirring is required as it provides easier access and a rounded base.
