What We Like

  • The nonstick surface means foods release easily and clean up is easy and quick.
  • The pan is oven safe to 350F so you can take this straight from the stove top to the oven without having to transfer the contents to an oven safe dish.
  • The handle is riveted on so you won’t have this one coming lose at the most inappropriate time.
  • You can use metal utensils.
  • The handles stay cool on the stove top.

What We Don’t Like

  • This one is not dish washer safe so you will need to hand wash.

Circulon pans are good quality, strong and durable. The aluminum core means that foods will cook evenly with no hotpots. In other words, you won’t get the problem of part of the food being cooked and the rest raw.

What We Like

  • First of all this looks good. The stainless steel lid and handles and the charcoal grey exterior give this a stylish look and will look exceptionally good hanging from a pot rack.
  • The helper handle makes it easy to lift the pan from the stove.
  • This pan is dishwasher safe which you don’t get very often with non-stick cookware.
  • Clean up is easy with this non-stick surface.
  • Suitable for induction, glass top and conventional stove tops.
  • This Calphalon pan is oven safe to 500F.

What We Don’t Like

  • The price may be an issue for some at just over $100, however Circulon guarantee that their non-stick surface will outlast all other non-stick.

Cookware Review: Rachael Ray Hard Anodized Saute Pan

Our first review for the Rachael Ray line of cookware has just been added. We decided on the oval saute pan as this is a very popular piece in the Rachael Ray range.

Rachael Ray was definitely thinking outside of the box when she designed this range of cookware. This pan is quite unique with its oval shape and bright orange trim.

We like it. It’s modern and fun but most importantly it does the job.
