Rated Cookware Sets - Stainless Steel & Non Stick
During our many hours of research we found that some cookware sets really stand out amongst the multitude of sets available. So we put them together on this page to make it easier for you to find the best cookware sets without having to do the research yourself.
And because we know that some of you have a preference for stainless steel over non-stick we separated them into the top for each so you can take your pick based on your liking.
So what you see below are the top cookware sets for both stainless steel and non-stick based on ratings, price, quality, consumer reviews and overall value for money.
Top Stainless Steel Cookware Sets
This is definitely our absolute favorite cookware set. We have a mix of cookware in our kitchens but we both prefer our Cuisinart Multiclad Pro stainless steel cookware over all other brands and that includes All Clad.
It has the quality of All Clad but at a much
better price. It feels good to work with, looks stylish and even after
years of use it still looks almost like new.
If anyone asks us what stainless steel cookware set they should buy, without hesitating we will always recommend Cuisinart MultiClad Pro.We love it and highly recommend it.
We're hard pressed to find anything bad to say about All Clad apart from the fact that it can be a little expensive. However, it is extremely well made and will last a lifetime so in the long run it ends up being good value for money.
All Clad put a lot of work into their cookware and it shows. These pots and pans are used in many professional kitchens so you really can't go wrong if you purchase an All Clad cookware set.
Our personal favorite is the All Clad Try-Ply range. You can read our review for this set by clicking the link below.
Just note however, that we haven't had a chance to review this one ourselves yet but we wanted to put it here because of those high ratings.
It's definitely worth a look as it is quite reasonably priced for a multi-clad set of cookware.
Top Non-Stick Cookware Sets
We've tried a multitude of different non-stick cookware brands
and in the end what we've found is that despite the quality they all
end up losing their non-stick coating eventually. This particularly
applies to skillets, frypans and saute pans. That's just the nature of
non-stick cookware. So be aware that if you buy a non-stick set it will
not last as long as a stainless steel set.
We never thought that we would give our thumbs up for a celebrity cookware set but we have done so with the Rachael Ray hard anodized cookware range. It's just over $100 for the 10pc set and great value for money for the quality.
Don't get me wrong here, this is not top of the range
non-stick cookware, but if you are looking for a budget priced
non-stick cookware set then this is the one to get.
It comes in a 10 piece, 12 piece and 14 piece set.
We don't have the complete set of this to review but Wanda has been using a Circulon skillet for some time now and it has held up extemely well. In fact, the non-stick surface looks as good as new despite being used quite extensively for at least the past three years now. So we decided to add this as our number #2 choice since the reviews on Amazon are extremely good for both the Circulon Symmetry and Cirulon Elite cookware sets.
#3. Anolon Advanced Cookware
Anolon have some really good quality non-stick cookware but that is also reflected in the price, so they can be more expensive than a lot of cookware brands. But you will pretty much always see positive reviews for their cookware and that is always a good sign.
We have been recommending them for years and will continue to do so while the quality remains high.
